My name is Arno Korpershoek and I am partner of wibas Netherlands. We support our customers in implementing Lean/Agile organizational change programs in the chaotic and complex domains, where emergent learning is key to survival and success in the ever faster changing world. Among others, we use the Cognitive Edge' SenseMaking methods for strategy development within Leadership teams, for tuning into the wishes of target stakeholder groups, and for obtaining feedback on the effectiveness of implemented changes. The SenseMaking methods really are a key element in the success of our change programs since they provide valuable feedback, new perspectives, visions, strategies and structures for a better future
My passion is to enable people to reach and use their full potential. As independent process manager I enabled many large organization to optimize their development and delivery process. Since 2006 I took a next step becoming trainer in personal development programs. In that process I focused to “open up people’s realizing” their own potential.
In 2009 my process and coach experiences blended together. SenseMaker enables me to facilitate large groups of stakeholders participating solving complex challenges.
My process experience enables me to provide the needed stucture. My coach experience helps people to act, regardless their hierarchal position or knowledge level.
Emergent learning is key to address present challenges in our society. With that in mind we at Listen2Change support different types of customers in their struggles to cope with their old and complex problems. I am most proud of the effort in Rotterdam. But also the other work with for example an European financial multinational improving their learning capabilities, gives me much joy. Within the bank we analyzed their improvement efforts using future backwards. It provided direct insight in the repeat-aspects of their efforts which helps to avoid similar failures in the past, to occur in the future. In another part of the organization, safe-fail probes together with anecdote circles provide structure and guidance in our process improvement programs.
In Rotterdam we set up a program to provide insight in the effect small social innovation programs have in their local communities. We use social network simulation to trigger and provide stunning results. This is further supported by the Citizens Journalism project of Cognitive Edge .
