Podcasts from KM Australia

August 26, 2007

OK they are finally up:

Firstly, the keynote podcast is here, and the supporting slides here. This was a general presentation on sense-making and the current state of KM. Including my general view that if KM is costing you a lot of money something is wrong …..

Secondly, my presentation during the masterclass on Communities of Practice is here, with the slides here. This includes a presentation of aspects of Complex Acts of Knowing and a summary of Social Network Stimulation.

Hope they are useful, expect more podcasts for all future presentations. Also to be loaded this week are the full accreditation course and hopefully a joint podcast with Euan.

The Cynefin Company (formerly known as Cognitive Edge) was founded in 2005 by Dave Snowden. We believe in praxis and focus on building methods, tools and capability that apply the wisdom from Complex Adaptive Systems theory and other scientific disciplines in social systems. We are the world leader in developing management approaches (in society, government and industry) that empower organisations to absorb uncertainty, detect weak signals to enable sense-making in complex systems, act on the rich data, create resilience and, ultimately, thrive in a complex world.
